Put AI to work on the
repetitive parts of your business

You build a working AI assistant for your own business, see a real automation run, and leave knowing where AI can save your team time. The two-hour AI Workshop is $97 a seat, built for manufacturing, logistics and transportation, and automotive businesses in West Michigan and beyond.

The AI Workshop

What happens in the two hours

Half the session is hands-on and half is a live demo. You work on your own business the whole time, not on a sample company.

1

Before the session

Create an account with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Bring a laptop, your price list, your most common customer questions, and a few real customer emails you are comfortable using. We will tell you which plan you need when you book.

2

Hour 1: you build

Each person sets up a no-code AI assistant for their own business: a ChatGPT Custom GPT, a Claude Project or a Gemini Gem. You load in your services, prices, service area and the way you talk to customers, then use it on real replies and quotes.

3

Hour 2: we show you an automation

You do not build automations in the room, because they need system connections and keys. Instead we run a prebuilt one in front of you, working on its own, so you can see what an automated workflow looks like on a real task.

4

Then we talk about your business

You leave with a working assistant and a clearer sense of which repetitive tasks in your business are worth automating. We're happy to discuss how Oak Harbor Tech can bring a focused audit to your business to help you unlock more potential using AI Automation.

Who It Is For

Owners who want their time back

If you or your team spend hours a week on work that follows the same steps every time, this workshop is for you.

  • Owners and managers at small and mid-size manufacturers
  • Logistics and transportation companies, from dispatch to the back office
  • Automotive shops, dealers and service businesses
  • Anyone buried in quotes, order entry, status emails and follow-ups
  • People with no technical background. Nothing in the workshop needs code.

What Automation Looks Like

Examples for your kind of business

These are examples of the kind of work AI can take on. They show what is possible, not results we have delivered for a client.

Manufacturing

  • Quote drafts built from the request email, your price list and past quotes, ready for a person to review and send.
  • Purchase orders, packing slips and supplier documents read and entered into your ERP or spreadsheet, with odd ones flagged.
  • A quality report put together automatically from inspection data, flagging readings that fall out of range.
  • An internal assistant that answers shop-floor questions from your written procedures.

Logistics and transportation

  • Late or missing shipment alerts sent to dispatch the moment something slips, with a customer update drafted for you to approve.
  • Bills of lading, proof-of-delivery and invoices read and entered into your system.
  • Reminders ahead of expiring driver certifications, inspections and compliance deadlines.
  • First-draft replies to the same status questions your team answers every day.

Automotive

  • A follow-up sequence for declined repair recommendations, at two weeks, 30 days and 60 days.
  • A fast first reply to online appointment and quote requests, even after hours.
  • Mileage-based service reminders sent to past customers.
  • A review request after each visit, with an alert to you when a score comes back low.

After the Workshop

When you are ready for more

Some owners stop after the workshop and keep using their assistant. Others see an automation they want running in their own business. That is a separate conversation, and it starts the same way: a call.

We believe AI multiplies whatever system it sits on, so we fix the process and the data first, then automate.

  1. Look at how the work really flowsWe talk to you and the people who do the work, map the repeat tasks, and find the ones that cost the most time.
  2. Build one automationWe build a single automation aimed at one problem, test it on real work, and keep a person in the loop where it matters.
  3. Keep it runningIf you want, we monitor it, fix it and improve it, and train your team to use it.
